Section 14 of the Via Algarviana runs through the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, one of the most beautiful and valuable protected areas in the country. Here we find several endemic plants, unique coastal landscapes and perhaps we will be able to spot emblematic birds such as the the red-billed chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) or peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus). We will pass through agricultural fields, most of which are abandoned and partially renaturalised by the scrubland typical of this region. Here, there is still grazing and we are likely to come across cattle.
This activity is facilitated by Anabela Santos.
The path is linear. There will be a bus that will take the group from the meeting point to the walk starting point.
Comfortable footwear and clothing adapted to weather conditions, hat, sunscreen, water and a small snack.
