Power Lines and Birdlife

Power Lines and Birdlife

Power lines pose a risk to many birds, which can collide with them or suffer electrocution. This activity will present the problem, examples of field monitoring, and the solutions applied to reduce the impact. The new module of the E-REDES application will also be presented, which allows incidents involving birds and power lines to be recorded and supports conservation through citizen science.

This activity is facilitated by Maria Alho.
